Topdressing with Horti-Cote® Plus 2M increased effective nitrogen supply by 26.8% (at 0.5g/pl) to 53.7% (at 1.0g/pl). This led to improved crown formation, darker foliage, a more compact crop, and higher yields in class 1 fruit.

An object treated with 3 kg/m³ Horti-Cote® Plus 2M (with no additional fertilization after September) achieved 6.21 kg/m² — significantly more than the standard reference (5.85 kg/m²). The number of flower stems per plant was also higher (4.4 vs. 3.7).

Elsanta (PC Hoogstraten)
Use of Horti-Cote® Plus 6M (with or without Hortimix) resulted in stronger root systems, more flower buds, and higher yield potential. Plots treated with Horti-Cote® averaged 4.4 flower stems per plant, compared to just 3.0 in the control group.
